Alocasia micholitziana Variegated Mint is an exceptionally rare form of the well-known Frydek species, presenting the velvety dark green, white-veined leaves with additional irregular mint-green to pale yellow-white variegation. A museum-quality specimen that commands significant attention.
LIGHT: Bright indirect light is crucial. Variegated sections need sufficient light to remain healthy.
WATER: Keep evenly moist. Variegated tissue is fragile—use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix and never allow roots to sit in water.
HUMIDITY: 65–85%. High humidity helps protect the variegated sections from browning.
FERTILIZER: Half-strength balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks in active growth.
TEMPERATURE: 65–85°F. Consistent warmth is important.
TOXICITY: Toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
