Alocasia Yucatán Princess Variegated Aurea TC Plantlet is an exceptionally rare, laboratory-propagated specimen of one of the most talked-about Alocasia hybrids. The Yucatán Princess features large, glossy leaves with a bold architectural form, and the Aurea Variegated form adds spectacular golden-yellow (aurea) sectoral or splash variegation. As a TC plantlet, this is a very young plant requiring careful establishment.TC ACCLIMATION: Place in a high-humidity enclosure (75–85% RH) for the first 3–5 weeks after arrival. Gradually lower humidity over 2–3 weeks before transitioning to normal indoor conditions.LIGHT: Bright indirect light. Critical for both TC recovery and for sustaining the aurea variegation, which has reduced chlorophyll. WATER: Keep lightly moist using a sterile, well-draining aroid mix. Never saturate the growing medium. HUMIDITY: 70–85% during acclimation, then 60–75% once established. FERTILIZER: No fertilizer for 4–6 weeks. Then quarter-to-half-strength balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks. TEMPERATURE: 68–86°F. Never below 65°F.
