Cercestis mirabilis TC Plantlet is a tissue-cultured specimen of one of the most extraordinary climbing aroids from West Africa. Juvenile leaves are small and entire, but as the plant matures and begins to climb, it produces increasingly large leaves with dramatic fenestration and a beautiful silvery-grey-green surface.TC ACCLIMATION: Upon arrival, place in a high-humidity enclosure (75–85% RH) for 3–5 weeks. Gradually transition to normal indoor conditions over 2–3 additional weeks.LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun during acclimation and beyond. WATER: Keep lightly moist using a sterile, well-draining mix. TC plantlets are sensitive to overwatering. HUMIDITY: 65–85% during acclimation; 60–75% once established. FERTILIZER: No fertilizer for 4–6 weeks. Then quarter-to-half-strength balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks. TEMPERATURE: 68–86°F; consistently warm is critical for this West African species.
