Monstera Peru (Monstera karstenianum) is a distinctive, fast-growing climbing Monstera with unusually thick, deeply ridged, dark green leaves that lack the fenestration of other Monsteras but make up for it with incredible texture. The heavily embossed, bullate leaf surface catches light beautifully.
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light; tolerates lower light reasonably well.
WATER: Allow top 1–2 inches to dry. The thick leaves provide some drought tolerance.
HUMIDITY: 50–70%; more tolerant of average humidity than most Monsteras.
FERTILIZER: Balanced fertilizer every 4 weeks in growing season.
TEMPERATURE: 65–85°F.
TOXICITY: Toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.

In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
