Stunning variegated hybrid philodendron with dramatic cream, white, yellow, and lime green marbling on deeply lobed leaves—each leaf uniquely patterned. Sport/mutation of Florida Green. Elongated multi-lobed leaves with serrated edges reaching 6-12" (up to 18" when climbing). Cross between P. pedatum x P. squamiferum created by Robert McColley, 1956. Petioles bumpy/warty and reddish (inherited from squamiferum parent). LIGHT: Bright indirect light essential for maintaining dramatic variegation; east-facing window ideal, or 3-6 ft back from south/west window with sheer curtain. Too little light = variegation dulls/reverts green; too much direct sun = scorched leaves. Rotate pot every few weeks for even growth.WATER: Water when top 1-2" dry; typically every 5-7 days. Keep soil consistently moist but never soggy—overwatering = root rot. Reduce in winter. Use room temp filtered or rainwater; sensitive to chlorine.HUMIDITY: Moderate to high; 50-70% ideal for optimal variegation. Tolerates average (40%+) but thrives with increased moisture via humidifier, pebble tray, or grouping. Avoid misting foliage (promotes fungal issues).FERTILIZER: Balanced liquid fertilizer (20-20-20) diluted to half-strength every 2-4 weeks spring-summer; monthly in fall; skip winter. Alternative: slow-release granular 3x/year. Avoid over-fertilizing.TEMPERATURE: 65-80°F (18-27°C) ideal; tolerates down to 55°F. Avoid below 50°F (causes leaf drop). Protect from cold drafts, AC vents, sudden temperature changes.TOXICITY: TOXIC to pets and humansHOW OUR SHIPPING WORKS We ship all live plants with custom packing, insulation, and lots of cushioning so they arrive in the best condition possible.
